Translates plain text, a WebVTT subtitle, or a MamuteCloud transcription into up to 10 languages.

The call waits up to about 20 seconds: a short text comes back 200 with status: "done" and the translations. Anything longer answers 202 with status: "queued" or "processing"; read the result with GET /v1/translations/{id} or receive it on webhookUrl. Send ?wait=false to always answer at once.

Text keeps its line breaks. WebVTT keeps every cue and its timing: cues that split a sentence are translated together and the translation is spread back over them. With transcriptId the transcription's WebVTT is translated and its detected language is the source.

Pricing: US$ 1 per million characters, per target language: billedCharacters = source characters (spaces count; for WebVTT only the cue text, without timings or tags) x number of targets. Charged only when the translation is done; failed translations are not charged. Requires paid balance or auto-recharge; trial credit does not apply. The price is held from the balance once the characters are counted: a translation the balance cannot cover ends in error with insufficient_balance: ... and costs nothing.

Limits: text up to 500,000 characters, WebVTT up to 1,000,000, 10 targets per job. Results are kept for 7 days.
